“STUDENTS
OF THE MONTH” AWARD
The
“Students of the Month” award has been in place for years. Rotary Club
of Fremont invites the participating schools to nominate a student for
this award monthly.
It was set up as follows:-
·
Two (2) students from Fremont Ross High School;
·
One (1) student from St. Joe Central Catholic High School (SJCC); and
·
One (1) from Vanguard Career Center.
In 2005, the Club included the following:-
·
One (1) from Terra Community College; and
·
One (1) from Tech Prep.
Currently the Club selects Six (6) “Students of the Month” and
recognizes them at the Club’s luncheon meeting every month.
“STUDENTS OF THE YEAR” SCHOLARSHIP
Every May the Club selects a “Student of the Year” winner for Fremont
Ross (1); SJCC (1); Vanguard (1); Terra (1); and Tech Prep (1). Each
winner will receive a scholarship from the Rotary Club of Fremont.
