Donation Recipient: Sandusky County Food Pantry

Brief History: 

This is a Food Assistance Program under Sandusky County Dept of Job & Family Services, to help people with low incomes obtain nutritious food. Food assistance program benefits are issued by USDA through county job and family services departments and are used to purchase specific staples and grocery items at participating grocery stores.

-Our Club has been collecting boxes of food, household items, and donation checks worth more than $1,000 towards SCFP every November since 2009.

-With aim to combine efforts and better publicity, our Club joint Sandusky County Park District at the annual holiday parade.  Together we delivered these donations to SCFP every December.
